Abstract
ABSTRACT The present investigation sought to determine the incidence between ergonomics and staff turnover in a company providing health services 2022; this study was a descriptive correlational study, non-experimental design, quantitative and cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 58 workers from the administrative and operational areas. For the ergonomics and staff turnover variables, a Likert scale questionnaire was used as an instrument for data collection. In the results obtained, it was observed that ergonomics has an incidence on personnel turnover; it presented the chi-square test with a significance value of 0.000. Using Spearman's correlation index, a value of 0.291 was obtained. With respect to the dimensions of the cognitive, physical and environmental ergonomics variable, there is no incidence, therefore, the null hypothesis is accepted. Additionally, the organizational ergonomics dimension showed an incidence on personnel turnover, with a chi-square value of 0.000 and a Spearman index of 0.286. In conclusion, the results show that there is a weak positive correlation between ergonomics and employee turnover, and the organizational ergonomics dimension also has a weak positive correlation.
