Abstract
La presente investigación titulada Propuesta del programa MEC para favorecer la competencia corporal en estudiantes de Educación Inicial de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, 2020, tuvo como objetivo elaborar una propuesta de programa MEC orientada a favorecer la competencia corporal en las estudiantes al ingresar al programa de estudios. El diseño de la investigación desarrollada fue descriptiva propositiva, con una muestra de 35 estudiantes del primer ciclo, a quienes se les aplicó una escala valorativa validada por juicio de expertos conformada por 25 preguntas cuyo puntaje mayor de cada ítem fue de 3 puntos, donde 3 corresponde a la escala siempre, 2 a veces y nunca. Los resultados obtenidos al término del estudio estadístico mostraron que solo el 10% de estudiantes alcanzaron el nivel alto en la dimensión movimiento; el 10% de estudiantes alcanzaron el nivel alto en la dimensión de expresión y el 20% logró un nivel alto en la dimensión comunicación. A manera de conclusión, luego de hacer un análisis e investigar bibliográficamente los fundamentos, importancia y características sobre la competencia corporal, el movimiento, expresión y comunicación se tuvo la necesidad de abarcar esta problemática implementando el programa MEC en las estudiantes de Educación Inicial de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo con la finalidad de brindar un aporte desde la investigación a la mejora de las competencias corporales, comunicativas de las mismas reflejándose en su desempeño profesional en la comunidad.
The present investigation entitled "Proposal of the MEC Program to Promote Body Competence in Students of Initial Education of the National University of Trujillo, 2020", has the objective of developing a proposal for a MEC program to promote body competence in university students when they start the study program. The research was designed as a purposeful descriptive study and included a sample of 35 first-cycle students. They were assessed using a validated assessment scale consisting of 25 questions. Each item in the scale was scored on a scale of 1 to 3, where 1 indicated "never", 2 indicated "sometimes", and 3 indicated "always". The results obtained at the end of the statistical study showed that the level of body competence is only 10%. The movement dimension also scored 10%, while the level of expression showed 10% at an advanced level. At the communication level, the results showed a higher score of 20%. In conclusion, after making an analysis and bibliographically researching the foundations, importance and characteristics of body competence, movement, expression, and communication, it was found necessary to implement the MEC program for Initial Education students at the National University of Trujillo. This program aims at improving their bodily and communicative skills, which would reflect positively on their professional performance in the community.
