dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación de tipo descriptiva correlacional de corte transversal se realizó con la finalidad de determinar la relación entre el nivel de cuidado del adulto mayor y nivel de competencias del cuidador familiar del PADOMI EsSalud en una población muestral de 35 cuidadores familiares a quienes se les aplicó dos instrumentos preparados para tal fin, para la correlación de variables se aplicó la prueba estadística de chi cuadrado llegando a los siguientes resultados: El 62.9% de cuidadores presenta un nivel de cuidado regular, el 20% deficiente y el 17.1% alto. Sobre el nivel de competencias el 62.9% presentan un nivel regular, el 20.0% buena y el 17.1% deficiente. Existe una relación significativa entre el nivel de cuidado brindada al adulto mayor y las competencias del cuidado familiar, evidenciado al aplicar la prueba estadística de Chi cuadrado (p=0.005).
dc.description.abstractThis cross-sectional correlational descriptive investigation was carried out in order to determine the relationship between the level of care for the elderly and the level of competencies of the family caregiver at PADOMI EsSalud in a sample population of 35 family caregivers at who were applied two instruments prepared for this purpose, for the correlation of variables the chi-square statistical test was applied, reaching the following results: 62.9% of caregivers present a regular level of care, 20% deficient and 17.1% high. Regarding the level of skills, 62.9% present a regular level, 20.0% good and 17.1% poor. There is a significant relationship between the level of care provided to the elderly and family care competencies, evidenced by applying the Chi square statistical test (p=0.005).
