dc.descriptionThe implementation of integrated pest management leads to the search for alternativesbiological without contaminating the environment, within these are the extracts of vegetable plants like Ricinus communis L., a Euphorbiaceae that contains molecules with insecticidal properties mainly in the seeds, therefore, the present objective of the research was to determine the effect of the aqueous extract of seeds of R. communis on adults of Sitophilus oryzae. To carry out the investigation, used aqueous extract at doses of 70, 80, 90g/100mL and a control (distilled water), the trial consisted of using a population of 20 individuals in 100 grams of yellow corn hard, by treatment and repetition, the evaluation was carried out for 15 days, todetermine the dose that produced the highest mortality and the LD50. The highest percentage of registered mortality was 88.3 at 90g/100mL. The analysis of variance was done through thestatistical software InfoStat, where no significant differences were found between the treatments, but if compared to the control to a 95% statistical error and to evaluate the DL50 the RStudio program was used, which was obtained as a result 44.75g/100mL,with a significance of 1%.es_PE
dc.description.abstractLa implementación del manejo integrado de plagas conlleva a la búsqueda de alternativas biológicas sin contaminar el ambiente, dentro de éstas se encuentran los extractos de plantas vegetales como Ricinus communis L., una Euforbiácea que contiene moléculas con propiedades insecticidas principalmente en las semillas, por ende, la presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el efecto del extracto acuoso de semillas de R. communis sobre adultos de Sitophilus oryzae. Para llevar a cabo la investigación, se utilizó extracto acuoso a dosis de 70, 80, 90g/100mL y un testigo (agua destilada), el ensayo consistió en usar una población de 20 individuos en 100 gramos de maíz amarillo duro, por tratamiento y repetición, la evaluación se realizó durante 15 días, para determinar la dosis que produjo mayor mortalidad y la DL50. El mayor porcentaje de mortalidad registrada fue 88.3 a 90g/100mL. El análisis de varianza se hizo a través del software estadístico InfoStat, donde no se encontró diferencias significativas entre los tratamientos, pero si respecto al testigo a un 95% de error estadístico y para evaluar la DL50 se utilizó el programa RStudio, el cual se obtuvo como resultado 44.75g/100mL, con una significancia del 1%.es_PE
