dc.descriptionThe present study was made in the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins National Hospital during the year of pharmaceutical boarding school. The objective of this study was to determine the bacterial resistance and consumption of reserve antibiotics. This study consisted in the collection of 127 patients antibiograms in the service Care Unit 7B Intensive, that were obtained from the clinical history of patients hospitalized in this service. The annual consumption of reserve antibiotics was determined for two years of study. The results showed that the bronchial secretion was obtained the highest number of isolated bacteria (in 2007 27.54% and 24% in 2008.) followed by venous catheter Central and blood. The most frequent organism isolated in two years was Pseudoma aeruginosa (2007 17.39% and 24.14% in 2008), this bacterial showed to be the most multiresistance. The highest resistance was to Cefepime and the lowest resistance was to Vancomycin (4.16% in 2007 and 0.0% in 2008). Imipenem was the higher antibiotic consumption in both years with 0.544 DDD/100 day in 2007 and 0.550 DDD/100 day in 2008. The lowest antibiotic consumption in 2007 was to Meropenem with 0.0 DDD/100 day and in 2008 was to Aztreonam (0.009 DDD/100 day)es_ES
dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio se realizo en el Hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliati Martins durante el año de internado farmacéutico 2008 comparado con el año 2007. El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar la resistencia bacteriana y el consumo de antibióticos de reserva. Este estudio consistió en la recopilación de 127 reportes de antibiogramas del servicio 7B Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos, dichos reportes se obtuvieron de las historias clínicas de pacientes hospitalizados en dicho servicio, con la finalidad de conocer los porcentajes de resistencia bacteriana frente a los antibióticos de reserva incluidos en el petitorio de EsSALUD. Así mismo se determinó el consumo anual de dichos antibióticos de reserva en ambos años en el servicio de estudio. Los resultados reflejan que de la secreción bronquial se obtuvo el mayor número de aislamiento de gérmenes (año 2007 27,54% y en año 2008 24%.) seguido de catéter venoso central y sangre. El microorganismo aislado mas frecuente en ambos años fue Pseudoma aeruginosa (2007 17.39% y en 2008 24.14%). Los valores mas altos de resistencia en ambos años fue para Cefepine; y el valor mas bajo de resistencia fue para Vancomicina, 4.16% en el 2007 y 0.0 % en el 2008. Imipenem fue el antibiótico de reserva con mayor consumo en ambos años 0.544 DDD/100 día en el 2007 y 0.550 en el 2008. En el 2007 el menor consumo fue para Meropenem con 0.00 DDD/100 día y mientras que en el 2008 fue para Aztreonam con 0.009 DDD/100 día.es_ES
