Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación es de tipo descriptivo, correlacional y de corte
transversal, tuvo como objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la Actitud del paciente con
VIH / SIDA y la calidad de cuidado de enfermería atendidos en el servicio de Emergencia
del Hospital de Alta Complejidad Virgen de la Puerta. La muestra estuvo constituida por 80
pacientes, a quienes se les aplicó los siguientes instrumentos: Cuestionario de actitud del
paciente con VIH/SIDA y Encuesta sobre calidad de cuidado de enfermería. Se utilizó la
prueba estadística de Pearson para relacionar las variables en estudio llegando a los
siguientes resultados: 69 % de los pacientes presentan una actitud negativa y el 31 % una
actitud positiva. En cuanto a la Calidad de cuidado de enfermería, el 89 % refirió recibir
una calidad de cuidado de enfermería regular, el 11 % una calidad de cuidado de
enfermería mala. Concluyendo que existe correlación positiva baja entre ambas variables
(p= 0,005).
Description
The present research work is descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional, aimed at:
Determining the relationship between the Attitude of the patient with HIV / AIDS and the
quality of nursing care treated in the Emergency Service of the High Complexity Hospital
Virgin of the Door. The sample consisted of 80 patients, to whom the following
instruments were applied: Questionnaire on the attitude of the patient with HIV / AIDS and
Survey on quality of nursing care. Pearson's statistical test was used to relate the variables
under study to the following results: 69% of patients have a negative attitude and 31%
have a positive attitude. Regarding the quality of nursing care, 89% reported receiving a
quality of regular nursing care, 11% a poor quality of nursing care. Concluding that there is
a low positive correlation between both variables.(p= 0,005)
