dc.descriptionCerebrovascular disease (CVD) is a clinical syndrome of sudden onset, due to the sudden focal and vascular interruption of brain functions in a period greater than 24 hours and evidenced by neuroimaging; Together with the measurement of the leukoglycemic index upon admission of the patient due to emergency, it has been related to a greater in-hospital complication, failed thrombolysis, and death. The objective measurement of the level of functional dependence after CVD determines the functional prognosis of the patient, the most used scale is NIHSS, which has become the most practical tool to assess the initial neurological state of the patientes_PE
dc.description.abstractLa enfermedad cerebrovascular (EVC) es un síndrome clínico de instauración súbita, debido a la interrupción brusca vascular y focal de las funciones cerebrales en un periodo superior a las 24 horas y evidenciadas mediante neuroimagen; junto a la medición del índice leucoglucémico al ingreso del paciente por emergencia, se ha relacionado a mayor complicación intrahospitalaria, trombolisis fallida y a muerte. La medición objetiva del nivel de dependencia funcional posterior al EVC determinan el pronóstico funcional del paciente, la escala más utilizada es NIHSS, la cual se ha convertido en les_PE
