Abstract
El presente estudio de investigación es de tipo descriptivo correlacional y de corte transversal. Se realizó en pacientes adultos de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital Belén de Trujillo, durante los meses de Enero – Marzo del 2013, con la finalidad de determinar la relación entre el Grado de Información que brinda la enfermera con el nivel de conductas emocionales: Ansiedad y Depresión del familiar de los pacientes Adultos de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos. El universo muestral estuvo constituido por 30 familiares quienes cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. La información se obtuvo mediante los siguientes instrumentos: “Escala de Valoración del Nivel de Ansiedad”, “Escala de Valoración del Nivel de Depresión” y el “Cuestionario del Grado de Información”, válidos y confiables, aplicados mediante la entrevista personal, considerando los derechos de anonimato, libre participación y confidencialidad. Los resultados fueron analizados estadísticamente y presentados en gráficos y cuadros estadísticos de simple y doble entrada, encontrándose que el mayor porcentaje corresponde a un moderado nivel de ansiedad y depresión del familiar y a un deficiente grado de información que brinda la enfermera. Para el análisis estadístico se aplicó la el Test de Independencia de Criterios (Chi Cuadrado), encontrándose que existe significancia entre el grado de información que brinda la enfermera con las conductas emocionales del familiar de la unidad de cuidados intensivos.
Description
This descriptive – correlational research transversal and cross-section. It was performed in adult patients of Intensive Care Unit in the Hospital Belen of Trujillo, during the months of January - March 2013, with the purpose of determinate the relationship between the degrees of information that provides the nurse and the level of emotional behaviors: anxiety and depression of the family of adult patients from the Intensive Care Unit. The sampling universe was composed by 30 family having in count the criteria of incorporation. The information was obtained through the following instruments: "Scale of assessment of the level of anxiety", "Scale of assessment of the level of depression" and the "questionnaire of the degree of information", both valid and reliable. They were applied by personal interview , considering the rights of anonymity, free participation and confidentiality The obtained data was processed statically and they were presented in unidimensional and bidimensional charts and graphics, which reported that the most percentage correspond to moderate level of anxiety and depression of the family, and an deficient grade of information that provides the nurse. For the statiscal analysis, was applied the Test of Independence of Criteria (Chi Cuadrado), that report that there are significance between the degree of information that provides the nurse and the emotional behaviors of the family of Intensive Care Unit.
