Abstract
El presente estudio cualitativo tuvo por objetivo analizar comprehensivamente el cotidiano de vida y salud del adulto mayor andino, en la cual se utilizó el enfoque fenomenológico, basado en las ideas del filósofo Martin Heidegger, plasmadas en su obra “Ser y Tiempo” y su diccionario. El escenario fue el distrito de Curgos, el número de participantes en la investigación fue determinado según el método de saturación de contenidos, constituido así por once adultos mayores que cumplieron con los criterios de selección y aceptaron su participación mediante el consentimiento informado, a quienes posteriormente se realizó la entrevista en profundidad, la cual fue grabada con la autorización de los entrevistados. Los hallazgos indican que los adultos mayores cuentan con redes de apoyo, que comprende al ser-ahí-con, usan plantas medicinales que conocen y están a su disposición relacionándose con facticidad y mundanidad. Además, su cotidianidad se centra en el trabajo de la chacra, el sembrar plantas y los quehaceres del hogar que son inherentes a ellos, representan su cultura local y su compromiso con la naturaleza para su subsistencia. También dan a conocer sus males y dolencias y la manera en cómo lo están enfrentando relacionándose esto con pre-ocupación y ocupación. De acuerdo con ello el Dasein de estos adultos mayores devela el fenómeno “sobre todo, tenemos que cuidarnos a nosotros mismos “, el cual se centra en que los adultos mayores ya sea hombre o mujer se mantienen auto independientes a pesar de las dificultades y limitaciones que se les presentan, y resalta la importancia para ellos de cuidar de sí
The present qualitative study aimed to understand the daily life and health of the Andean older adult, in which the phenomenological approach was used, based on the ideas of the philosopher Martin Heidegger, embodied in his work “Being and Time” and his dictionary. The scenario was the District of Curgos, the number of participants in the investigation was determined according to the content saturation method, thus constituted by eleven older adults who met the selection criteria and accepted their participation through the informed consent, to whom subsequently the in -depth interview was conducted, which was recorded with the authorization of the interviewees. The findings indicate that older adults have support networks, which includes being-there-with, use medicinal plants that they know and are available to relate to facticity and world. In addition, their daily life focuses on the work of the farm, sowing plants and home chores that are inherent to them, represent their local culture and commitment to nature for their subsistence. They also announce their ills and ailments and the way in which they are facing it by relating this to pre-labor and occupation. According to this, the Dasein of these older adults reveals the phenomenon "above all, we have to take care of ourselves", which focuses on the older adults either man or female are kept independent despite the difficulties and limitations They are presented to them, and highlights the importance for them to take care of themselves
