dc.descriptionThe present descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective study must like objective determine the characteristics of the use of Amikacina in the service of General Surgery of the Hospital Victor Lazarte Echegaray during the 2007. The studied population was conformed by clinical histories of the patients hospitalized in the service of General Surgery. One was that with respect to the pathologies that are reason for use of Amikacina 44,12% it corresponds to peritonitis, 31,76% to complicated ITU nosocomial infection of skin 13,59% and septicemia 10,59%. The proportion of prescribed Amikacina of therapeutic and prophylactic way was 86,50% and 13,50% respectively. On the other hand the dose of Amikacina is considered correct in 90.59% according to the indications in which the antibiotic is used, the election route was the endovenosa with 100%, the use interval was adapted in 86.50% and in relation to the duration of the treatment it was adapted in 90%. The greater consumption of Amikacina according to age parameter corresponds to the ages of 15 - 44 years, and as far as the parameter sex the greater consumption corresponds to masculine sex. With regard to the units consumed of Amikacina in the service of General Surgery during the period of study they were 6593. The DDD/100 bed-day of Amikacina in the service of General Surgery during the period of study was of 15.56. Finally the total cost of Amikacina in the service of Surgery was 5538,12 new suns during the 2007 and the greater monthly cost was 612,36 new suns for Augustes_ES
dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio descriptivo, transversal y retrospectivo tiene como objetivo determinar las características de la utilización de Amikacina en el servicio de Cirugía General del Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray durante el 2007. La población estudiada estuvo conformada por las historias clínicas de los pacientes hospitalizados en el servicio de Cirugía General. Se encontró que respecto a las patologías que son motivo de utilización de Amikacina 44.12 % corresponde a peritonitis, 31.76% a ITU complicada nosocomial infección de piel 13.59 % y septicemia 10.59 %. La proporción de Amikacina prescrito de manera terapéutica y profiláctica fue 86.50 % y 13.50 % respectivamente. Por su parte la dosis de Amikacina se considera correcta en 90.59% de acuerdo a las indicaciones en que se usa el antibiótico, la vía de elección fue la endovenosa con 100 %, el intervalo de uso fue adecuado en 86.50 % y en relación a la duración del tratamiento fue adecuado en 90 %. El mayor consumo de Amikacina según parámetro de edad corresponde a las edades de 15 – 44 años, y en cuanto al parámetro sexo el mayor consumo corresponde al sexo masculino. En lo que respecta a las unidades consumidas de Amikacina en el servicio de Cirugía General durante el periodo de estudio fueron 6593. La DDD/100 camas-día de Amikacina en el servicio de Cirugía General durante el periodo de estudio fue de 15.56. Finalmente el costo total de Amikacina en el servicio de Cirugía fue 5538.12 nuevos soles durante el 2007 y el mayor costo mensual fue 612.36 nuevos soles para Agostoes_ES
