| dc.description | The present investigation of cross-sectional descriptive correlation type was carried out with the patients who attend the ambulatory surgery service of the Virgen de la Puerta Essalud High Complexity Hospital between January and July 2018, the sample population consisted of 90 patients To whom an instrument divided into two parts was applied, the first on the socio-epidemiological factors and the second part on the management of coping with ambulatory surgery for statistical analysis, the statistical test of square che was used, reaching the following conclusions: 51.1 percent of patients in the preoperative phase are between the ages of 60 to 70 years old, 44.4 percent between the ages of 36 to 59 years and only 4.4 percent between 25 to 35 years of age, 55.5 percent one hundred were women and 44.4 percent men, the type of anesthesia programmed 76.6 percent was local and 23.3 percent to regional. 65.6 percent of preoperative patients showed adequate coping management and 34.4 percent inadequate. | dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación de tipo descriptiva correlacional de corte transversal se realizó con la finalidad de determinar la relación entre factores socio epidemiológicos y el afrontamiento del paciente que acuden al servicio de cirugía ambulatoria del Hospital de Alta Complejidad Virgen de la Puerta Essalud entre los meses de enero a julio 2018, la población muestral estuvo conformada por 90 pacientes a quienes se les aplicó un instrumento dividido en dos partes la primera sobre los factores socio epidemiológicos y la segunda parte sobre el manejo del afrontamiento del paciente ante la cirugía ambulatoria, para el análisis estadístico se utilizó la prueba estadística de che cuadrado llegando a las siguientes conclusiones: El 51.1 por ciento de los pacientes se encuentran entre las edades de 60 a 70 años edad, el 44.4 por ciento entre las edades de 36 a 59 años y solo el 4.4 por ciento entre 25 a 35 años de edad, el 55.5 por ciento fueron mujeres y el 44.4 por ciento hombres, el tipo de anestesia programada fue local con un 76.6 por ciento y el 23.3 por ciento regional. El 65.6 por ciento de los pacientes refieren un manejo adecuado de afrontamiento y el 34.4 por ciento inadecuado. Existe relación estadísticamente significativa entre el manejo adecuado del afrontamiento y la edad P=0.0168, no así con el sexo y el tipo de anestesia a utilizar. | es_PE |
