EFECTO DEL EXTRACTO HIDROALCOHÓLICO DE Desmodium molliculum (KUNTH) DC. SOBRE ÚLCERA GÁSTRICA INDUCIDA EN Mus musculus

dc.description.abstractLa úlcera péptica es causada por jugos ácidos del estómago que dañan su revestimiento. El objetivo de esta investigación será determinar el efecto del extracto hidroalcohólico de Desmodium molliculum (Kunth) DC. sobre úlcera gástrica inducida en Mus musculus. Se obtuvo el extracto con etanol al 96%, se utilizaron 25 individuos Mus musculus machos y 25 hembras; se indujo úlcera gástrica con 50 mg/Kg de peso corporal (p.c.) de indometacina vía oral (v.o.); se formaron los grupos de machos: control negativo (GC-M), control positivo (GC+M), estándar ranitidina (GERM), experimental 200 mg/Kg p.c. (GE200M) y experimental 400 mg/Kg p.c. (GE400M); hembras: control negativo (GC-H), control positivo (GC+H), estándar ranitidina (GERH), experimental 200 mg/Kg p.c. (GE200H) y experimental 400 mg/Kg p.c.(GE400H); se calculó el índice de ulceración aplicando la escala de Marhuenda; los datos fueron sometidos a una prueba de ANOVA y Tukey con 95% de confianza. Se formaron 5 grupos homogéneos, las úlceras fueron observadas y cuantificadas en cada uno de los grupos. El extracto hidroalcohólico de Desmodium molliculum (Kunth) DC. a la dosis de 200 mg/kg y 400 mg/kg p.c. mostró efecto gastroprotector en los grupos tanto de ratones machos como hembras. Además, la dosis de 400 mg/kg p.c. mostró mejor efecto gastroprotector que a la dosis de 200 mg/kg p.c. y el estándar farmacológico.
dc.description.abstractPeptic ulcer is caused by acidic stomach juices that damage its lining. The objective of this research will be to determine the effect of the hydroalcoholic extract of Desmodium molliculum (Kunth) DC. on gastric ulcer induced in Mus musculus. The extract was obtained with 96% ethanol, 25 male and 25 female Mus musculus individuals were used; gastric ulcer was induced with 50 mg / Kg of body weight (p.c.) of indomethacin orally (v.o.); the groups of males were formed: negative control (GC-M), positive control (GC + M), ranitidine standard (GERM), experimental 200 mg/Kg p.c. (GE200M) and experimental 400 mg/Kg p.c. (GE400M); females: negative control (GC-H), positive control (GC+H), ranitidine standard (GERH), experimental 200 mg/Kg p.c. (GE200H) and experimental 400 mg/Kg p.c. (GE400H); The ulceration index was calculated by applying the Marhuenda scale; the data were subjected to an ANOVA and Tukey test with 95% confidence. 5 homogeneous groups were formed, the ulcers were observed and quantified in each of the groups. The hydroalcoholic extract of Desmodium molliculum (Kunth) DC. at the dose of 200 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg p.c. showed a gastroprotective effect in the groups of both male and female mice. In addition, the dose of 400 mg / kg b.w. showed a better gastroprotective effect than at the dose of 200 mg / kg b.w. and the pharmacological standard.
