Conocimiento sobre el periodo de adaptación del recién nacido y la calidad del cuidado de enfermería

Abstract
Estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo, correlacional de corte transversal aplicado a enfermeras del servicio de neonatología del Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray durante los meses de noviembre del 2020 a febrero del 2021 con la finalidad de determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimientos de las enfermeras y calidad del cuidado durante el periodo de adaptación del recién nacido. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 45 enfermeras según criterios de inclusión, utilizándose dos instrumentos uno para evaluar la calidad de cuidados de enfermería y otro para evaluar el nivel de conocimientos obteniéndose como resultados que, del total de la población, el 87 % presento un nivel de conocimientos bueno mientras que el 13 % restantes un nivel de conocimientos malo, en cuanto a la calidad de cuidado de enfermería durante el periodo de adaptación se obtuvo que el 82% obtuvo una calidad de cuidados adecuada sin embargo el 18% restante una inadecuada calidad de cuidado. Del 87% con nivel del conocimiento bueno el 14% tiene nivel inadecuado de calidad y el 73% tiene un nivel adecuado de calidad concluyendo que existen evidencias suficientes para afirmar que existe relación altamente significativa entre las variables (r= 0.01; p= 0.859).
Quantitative, descriptive, correlational cross-sectional study applied to nurses from the neonatology service of the Víctor Lazarte Echegaray Hospital during the months of November 2020 to February 2021 in order to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of nurses and quality of care. care during the period of adaptation of the newborn.
