Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de hemoglobina en niños de 3 a 11 años atendidos en el centro médico Irene, del poblado El Milagro, distrito Huanchaco, Trujillo, 2023. Siendo un trabajo descriptivo, ya que la obtención de datos se realizó del registró del área de laboratorio de análisis clínico, con el permiso del médico a cargo. El método empleado para el análisis de hemoglobina fue el del microhematorcrito, teniendo como muestra la sangre total por punción capilar de 272 niños. Los resultados indicaron que el 75.6% de participantes presentaron un nivel normal de hemoglobina, el 19.1% tuvo anemia leve, un 5.2% anemia moderada y 0% de anemia severa. Mediante el método de Chi cuadrado se relacionó las variables edad y sexo con el nivel de hemoglobina, encontrando que no existió relación significativa (p>0.05). Se concluye que la población evaluada presentó un gran porcentaje de niños con hemoglobina dentro de sus valores normales, con una distribución relativamente homogénea de anemia leve y moderada
The present investigation had objective of determining the level of hemoglobin in children from 3 to 11 years old attended at the Irene medical center, in populated El Milagro, Huanchaco district, Trujillo, 2023. Being a descriptive work, since the data was obtained from the registry of the clinical analysis laboratory area, with the permission of the doctor in charge. The method used for the hemoglobin analysis was the microhematocrit, taking as a sample the total blood from capillary puncture of 272 children. The results indicated that 75.6% of participants had a normal hemoglobin level, 19.1% had mild anemia, 5.2% had moderate anemia and 0% had severe anemia. Using the Chi-square test the variables age and sex were related to the hemoglobin level, finding that there was no significant relationship (p>0.05). It is concluded that the population evaluated presented a large percentage of children with hemoglobin within normal values, with a relatively homogeneous distribution of mild and moderate anemia.
