dc.descriptionResearch correlational descriptive and cross-section was performed on nursing students from the National University of Trujillo, in order to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude of students towards the donation of organs and tissues. The universe consisted of 116 students who met the inclusion criteria, who were applied two instruments: questionnaire to determine the level of knowledge and scale to determine the attitude about organ and tissue donation. The results are presented and interpreted in tables of single and double entry, as well as statistical graphs. For the statistical analysis Chi Square test was used and reached the following conclusions: 69.8% of students presented a medium level of knowledge about organ and tissue donation; 25.9% had a high level of knowledge and 4.3% had a low level of knowledge; regarding attitudes toward organ and tissue donation, 76.6% of students, present attitude of acceptance and 23.3% present attitude of indifference. highly significant relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude about organ donation and tissue was found. dc.description.abstractInvestigación de tipo descriptiva correlacional y de corte transversal, se realizó en estudiantes de Enfermería de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, con el objetivo de determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud de los estudiantes hacia la donación de órganos y tejidos. El universo estuvo constituido por 116 estudiantes que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión, a quienes se les aplicó dos instrumentos: cuestionario para determinar el nivel de conocimientos y la escala para determinar la actitud sobre donación de órganos y tejidos. Los resultados son presentados e interpretados en tablas de simple y doble entrada, así como en gráficos estadísticos. Para el análisis estadístico se utilizó la prueba Chi Cuadrado y se llegó a las siguientes conclusiones: el 69.8% de estudiantes presentaron un nivel de conocimientos medio sobre donación de órganos y tejidos; un 25.9% presentaron un nivel de conocimientos alto y un 4.3% presentaron un nivel de conocimientos bajo; respecto a las actitudes hacia la donación de órganos y tejidos, el 76.6% de estudiantes, presento actitud de aceptación y el 23.3% presento actitud de indiferencia. Se encontró relación altamente significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento y actitud sobre la donación de órganos y tejidos. (p=0.00958<0.01).es_PE
