Abstract
El conocimiento de las expectativas y percepciones del servicio. Objetivo: Determinar la relación del grupo etario, sexo y grado de instrucción con la satisfacción global del usuario del servicio de emergencia. Materiales y Métodos: Estudio correlacional transversal, realizado en los usuarios del servicio de emergencia que deseen participar mediante la aplicación de una encuesta. Se calculó la asociación entre las características demográficas y la satisfacción global. Resultados: El 55% de los pacientes fue del sexo femenino; 39.8% entre 20 y 64 años;36% adultos y 24.2% adultos mayores. La mayoría de usuarios (49.7%) con instrucción secundaria, seguido del 23.2% con instrucción técnica, 17.8% con primaria completa, 9.4% con educación universitaria y 2.9% de analfabetos. En total 44,36% de satisfacción y satisfacción amplia. Asociado con satisfacción global se encontró: grupo etario (p=0.02). No se encontró relación del sexo y grado de instrucción con la satisfacción global: p= 0.59 y p= 0.18 respectivamente. Conclusiones: El grupo etario está relacionado con los niveles de satisfacción global.

No relationship was found between sex and level of education with global satisfaction: p= 0.59 and p= 0.18 respectively. Conclusions: The age group is related to the levels of global satisfaction.
