| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo cualitativo de trayectoria fenomenológica, realizado en el Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo, en el área de la Estrategia Sanitaria de Prevención y Control de la Tuberculosis, con el objetivo de develar los sentimientos de los afectados con tuberculosis pulmonar frotis positivo, muestra el fenómeno de dichos sentimientos vividos a través de categorías, dentro de las que resaltan: agradecimiento a Dios, sufrimiento, autoaislamiento, necesidad de apoyo, aislamiento, sentimiento de valía, rechazo, vergüenza y soledad. Participaron 8 afectados ambulatorios con tuberculosis pulmonar de ambos sexos, entre 20 y 70 años. En la construcción conceptual del fenómeno, el afectado con tuberculosis manifiesta sentimientos negativos como significado de vivir con esta enfermedad, considerándolo como un episodio difícil en su vida, afectando su identidad y dignidad como ser humano, generando la deshumanización dentro de la sociedad donde vive; pero el daño que le produce en su personalidad es de gran magnitud que trata de afrontar la pesada carga de la exclusión social y el estigma mediante respuestas conductuales inapropiadas. Los hallazgos permitieron llegar a las siguientes aproximaciones conceptuales: sentimientos negativos al vivir con la enfermedad, deshumanización y afrontamiento de la exclusión social y estigmatización. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The present qualitative phenomenological work, carried out at the Regional Teaching Hospital of Trujillo, in the area of the Health Strategy for the Prevention and Control of Tuberculosis, with the aim of revealing the feelings of those affected with positive pulmonary tuberculosis, shows the phenomenon of these feelings lived through categories, among which the following stand out: gratitude to God, suffering, self-isolation, need for support, isolation, feeling of worth, rejection, shame and loneliness. Participants included 8 outpatients with pulmonary tuberculosis of both sexes, between 20 and 70 years of age. In the conceptual construction of the phenomenon, the person affected by tuberculosis manifests negative feelings as a meaning of living with this disease, considering it as a difficult episode in his life, affecting his identity and dignity as a human being, generating dehumanization within the society where he lives; but the damage it causes to his personality is of great magnitude that he tries to face the heavy burden of social exclusion and stigma through inappropriate behavioral responses. The findings led to the following conceptual approaches: negative feelings when living with the disease, dehumanization and coping with social exclusion and stigmatization. | |
