Abstract
La investigación tuvo como propósito identificar los aspectos teóricos más relevantes de la estimulación sensorial como estrategia para el desarrollo de la psicomotricidad, siendo la investigación de enfoque cualitativo, de tipo básica de diseño bibliográfico descriptivo en la que se buscó ampliar el conocimiento, más no la manipulación de sus variables. Para el manejo de la información, se hizo uso de los métodos histórico, analítico y sintético y se empleó como técnica el análisis documental y como instrumento de manejo de la información, la indización y el resumen. El análisis interpretativo a las fuentes seleccionadas reportó que existen dos métodos importantes de estimulación sensorial para el desarrollo de la psicomotricidad, el método Point y el multisensorial cuadrados los mismos que se basan en evaluar y planificar intervenciones terapéuticas. También se resalta que existen representantes significativos los que han contribuido al desarrollo teórico de las variables, siendo importantes para la atención de los niños y las personas con necesidades especiales dado que resulta ser un medio de ayuda terapéutico que ayuda a reducir la ansiedad, el estrés, y la activación de habilidades, además la investigación aporta con un folleto con el cual es posible dar a conocer como la estimulación sensorial desarrolla la psicomotricidad y sus beneficios.
The purpose of the research was to identify the most relevant theoretical aspects of sensory stimulation as a strategy for the development of psychomotor skills. The research was of a qualitative approach, of a basic type of descriptive bibliographic design in which it was sought to expand knowledge but not the manipulation of its variables. For the management of information, historical, analytical and synthetic methods were used and documentary analysis was used as a technique and indexing and summary as an instrument for information management. The interpretative analysis of the selected sources reported that there are two important methods of sensory stimulation for the development of psychomotor skills, the Point method and the multisensory square method, which are based on evaluating and planning therapeutic interventions. It is also highlighted that there are significant representatives who have contributed to the theoretical development of the variables, being important for the care of children and people with special needs since it turns out to be a therapeutic means of help that helps reduce anxiety, stress, and the activation of skills, in addition the research contributes with a brochure with which it is possible to make known how sensory stimulation develops psychomotricity and its benefits.
