Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación tiene el propósito de determinar el efecto que genera la sobreprotección familiar en el desarrollo cognitivo y social de los alumnos de la I.E.P. Líderes de Guadalupe, 2018. La población está compuesta por 25 alumnos y la muestra fue de 20 alumnos a quienes se aplicaron los instrumentos de medición. Los procedimientos utilizados fueron los proporcionados por la estadística, comenzando con la construcción de tablas, la construcción de figuras y la aplicación de la prueba de hipótesis para probar la hipótesis de la investigación. Se obtuvo en sobreprotección familiar que el 70.0% de los alumnos tienen un nivel regular y el 50.0% de ellos tienen un nivel malo en desarrollo cognitivo y social. También se ha encontrado que existe un efecto negativo y significativo de la sobreprotección familiar en el desarrollo cognitivo y social (p <0.05). Se concluyó que existe un efecto negativo y significativo de la sobreprotección familiar en el desarrollo cognitivo y social de los alumnos de la I.E.P. Líderes de Guadalupe, 2018

The procedures used were those provided by the statistics, beginning with the construction of tables, the construction of figures and the application of the hypothesis test to test the research hypothesis.
