| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación tiene como propósito fundamental analizar la importancia de la intervención del profesional del Trabajo Social en la atención de pacientes con Diabetes Mellitus en el Hospital Belén de Trujillo – 2019. Se determinó el tipo de investigación realizada, tomando como base un diseño descriptivo. La muestra constó de un total de 40 pacientes, con quienes se trabajó aplicando los métodos y técnicas de la investigación cuantitativa y cualitativa. Los resultados demuestran la necesidad del profesional del Trabajo Social en el proceso del tratamiento de los pacientes con Diabetes puesto que, a lo largo del estudio se argumenta y evidencia que la disciplina, unifica el contexto familiar en favor del paciente y su tratamiento. Esto debido a que, a lo largo de la investigación, se evidencian los diferentes aspectos en los que el paciente requiere del apoyo familiar; sin embargo, se muestra la ausencia de los mismos. Finalmente, se concluye que, el actor del Trabajo Social, es el profesional encargado y capacitado para unir las partes necesarias en el contexto de un paciente con Diabetes en favor de mejorar la calidad de vida del mismo, y garantiza mejoras en la práctica de dicho procedimiento pues, además guía al paciente y su familia en base a lo determinado por los especialistas de la salud adaptando esta ruta a la vida del afectado y su entorno monitoreándolo constantemente. | |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT The main purpose of this research is to analyze the importance of the intervention of the Social Work professional in the care of patients with Diabetes Mellitus at the Belen Hospital of Trujillo - 2019. The type of applied research was determined, based on a descriptive design. The sample consisted of a total of 40 patients, with whom worked applying the methods and techniques of quantitative and qualitative research The results demonstrate the need for the Social Work professional in the process of treating patients with Diabetes since, throughout the study, it is argued and evidenced that discipline unifies the family context in favor of the patient and their treatment. This, because during the investigation it is evidenced diferentes aspects where pacient needs familiar help; however, it shows the absence of them. Finally, it is concluded that, the actor of Social Work, is the professional in charge and trained to unite the necessary parts in the context of a patient with Diabetes in favor of improving the quality of life of the same, and guarantees improvements in the practice of said The procedure therefore also guides the patient and their family based on what is determined by health specialists, adapting this route to the life of the affected person and their environment, constantly monitoring it. | |
