Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo fue estudiar en el control de Premnotrypes vorax Hustache en Solanum tuberosum L. en los campos de los agricultores que siembran como cultivo principal a la papa. Los parámetros evaluados fueron: insecticidas que utilizan, con frecuencia de aplicación, dosis de aplicación, numero de aplicaciones, realización de mesclas, costos de control químico, costos de producción, rendimiento, entre otros; los datos se obtendrán mediante la aplicación de una encuesta. Como resultados del presente estudio, se concluye que los agricultores de Pachin Alto, cada año incrementa el número de aplicaciones de insecticidas; así como la dosis, aumentando los costos de control y por ende los costos de producción; debido a la escasa información sobre la rotación e ingredientes activos o grupos químicos que puedan interferir el ciclo biológico de esta plaga y evitar que genere resistencia. También se concluye que cada año los rendimientos del cultivo de papa disminuyen por el poco éxito de controlar al Premnotrypes vorax Hustache.

It is also concluded that each year the yields of the potato crop decrease due to the little success of controlling the Premnotrypes vorax Hustache.
