Abstract
ABSTRACT The lips have very thin and sensitive skin, which is why it is prone to dryness, peeling and cracks; because they are exposed to solar radiation. The main objective of this thesis is to develop a lipstick based on Vitis vinifera seed oil and evaluate its antioxidant capacity. To formulate the lipstick, Phase A was mixed: beeswax, castor oil, glyceride monostearate, myristate isopropyl and BHT, in a water bath at 70°C- 75°C, and then Phase B was added: the colorant. and the oil; and pour into molds. The antioxidant capacity of the lipstick was determined in vitro with the reagent 2,2, diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), this result was expressed with the reduction of DPPH in percentage. The results obtained from the organoleptic and physicochemical control of the Vitis vinifera lipstick stick showed no alterations, since its values were found in the acceptable range and the antioxidant capacity of the third lipstick formulation gave us a percentage of 14.24%, therefore Therefore, it was concluded that it does present antioxidant capacity
