dc.descriptionThe present research work entitled Tourism Potentialities presented by the Chao_x000D_ District for Tourism Development; seeks to analyze, identify and evaluate tourist_x000D_ resources, tourism facilities, tourist infrastructure and community of the Chao_x000D_ District, Virú Province, La Libertad Region, developed within the framework of the_x000D_ methodological procedure established in the Manual for the Formulation of the_x000D_ Inventory of Tourist Resources at the National Level of the Ministry of Foreign_x000D_ Trade and Tourism - MINCETUR._x000D_ A total of 11 tourist resources have been registered, of which 07 are resources in_x000D_ operation and 04 are not in operation. In the Natural Sites category, the district has_x000D_ 4 tourist resources, while in the Cultural Manifestations category there were 3_x000D_ tourist resources. In the folklore category we have 02 tourism resources. As for the_x000D_ Programmed Events Category, we find 02 tourist resources being the party in_x000D_ honor of the Virgen of Carmen and the party of the Chao district. Not only are the_x000D_ potential tourist resources for tourism development in the District, there is also the_x000D_ tourist facility; that is, the tourist establishments as lodging services; where 5_x000D_ establishments were registered able to render a good service for the visitors of the_x000D_ District of Chao. As for the food service; there were 3 establishments that have a_x000D_ service able to meet the needs of the visitor.VI_x000D_ As for the transport service. Another potential is the tourist infrastructure as well as_x000D_ access roads and basic services. And as the last potential is the community of_x000D_ Chao District, who are willing to support with tourism development._x000D_ For this it was necessary to use the categorization and hierarchization phases; the_x000D_ categorization phase has made it possible to know tourist resources in a real and_x000D_ orderly way, as well as to collect information and categorize them into Natural_x000D_ Sites, Cultural Manifestations, Folklore and Programmed Events; while the_x000D_ hierarchization phase consists of determining the weighting of each resource and_x000D_ in this way determining the inclusion for the use of the resource in the tourism_x000D_ development of it._x000D_ Within the research methodology that was used is the Analytical - Synthetic_x000D_ Method; by means of this method the variables were analyzed individually; also the_x000D_ Ethnographic Methodology; this methodology was used in the field stage, which_x000D_ allowed describing the tourist elements that the Chao District has. To determine_x000D_ the number of population studied, the finite population formula was applied, which_x000D_ resulted in 186 economically active people._x000D_ The Chao District does have tourism potential for the development of tourism._x000D_ Because it has enough tourist resources, not only that; It also has a tourist facility,_x000D_ tourist infrastructure and finally the community, who with their kindness and_x000D_ dedication are willing to work for the District's tourism development.es_PE
dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación titulado Potencialidades turísticas que_x000D_ presenta el Distrito de Chao para Desarrollo del turismo; busca analizar,_x000D_ identificar y evaluar los recursos turísticos, la planta turística, infraestructura_x000D_ turística y comunidad del Distrito de Chao, Provincia de Virú, Región La Libertad,_x000D_ elaborado en el marco del procedimiento metodológico establecido en el Manual_x000D_ para la Formulación del Inventario de Recursos Turísticos a Nivel Nacional del_x000D_ Ministerio De Comercio Exterior y Turismo – MINCETUR._x000D_ Se ha registrado un total de 11 recursos turísticos, de los cuales 07 son recursos_x000D_ en operación y 04, no están en operación. En la categoría Sitios Naturales, el_x000D_ distrito cuenta con 4 recursos turísticos, mientras tanto en la categoría_x000D_ Manifestaciones Culturales se registraron 3 recursos turísticos. En la categoría_x000D_ Folclore tenemos 02 recursos turísticos. En cuanto a la Categoría Acontecimientos_x000D_ Programados, encontramos 02 recursos turísticos siendo la fiesta en honor a la_x000D_ Virgen del Carmen y la fiesta del distrito de Chao. No solo son los recursos_x000D_ turísticos potenciales para el desarrollo turístico en el Distrito, también está la_x000D_ planta turística; es decir los establecimientos turísticos como servicios de_x000D_ hospedaje; donde se registraron 5 establecimientos capaz de rendir un buen_x000D_ servicio para los visitantes del Distrito de Chao. En cuanto al servicio de_x000D_ alimentación; se registraron 3 establecimientos que cuentan con un servicio capaz_x000D_ de satisfacer las necesidades del visitante.IV_x000D_ En cuanto al servicio de transporte. Otra potencial es la infraestructura turística_x000D_ como como las vías de acceso y servicios básicos. Y como último potencial está la_x000D_ comunidad del Distrito de Chao, quienes están dispuestos a apoyar con el_x000D_ desarrollo turístico._x000D_ Para ello fue necesario emplear las fases de categorización y jerarquización; la_x000D_ fase de categorización ha permitido conocer de manera real y ordenada los_x000D_ recursos turísticos, así como también recolectar información y categorizarlos en_x000D_ Sitios Naturales, Manifestaciones Culturales, Folclore y Acontecimientos_x000D_ Programados; mientras que la fase de jerarquización consiste en determinar la_x000D_ ponderación de cada recurso y de esta manera determinar la inclusión para el_x000D_ aprovechamiento del recurso en el desarrollo turístico del mismo._x000D_ Dentro de la metodología de investigación que se utilizó está el Método Analítico –_x000D_ Sintético; mediante este método se analizaron las variables de manera individual;_x000D_ también la Metodología Etnográfica; Esta metodología se utilizó en la etapa de_x000D_ campo, lo cual permitió describir los elementos turísticos que cuenta el Distrito de_x000D_ Chao. Para determinar el número de población estudiada se aplicó la fórmula de_x000D_ población finita, cuyo resultado fue de 186 personas económicamente activa._x000D_ El Distrito de Chao si cuenta con potencial turístico para el desarrollo del turismo._x000D_ Debido a que cuenta con suficientes recursos turísticos, no solo eso; también_x000D_ cuenta con planta turística, infraestructura turística y por último la comunidad,_x000D_ quienes con su amabilidad y dedicación están dispuestos a trabajar por el_x000D_ desarrollo turístico del Distrito.es_PE
