dc.descriptionThe present work of investigation is of descriptive type correlacional of transverse court(cut), the study was realized in teenagers of the Educational Institution N º 80010 "Ricardo Palma". Trujillo during December, 2006, with the purpose of determining the relation that exists between the type of family, the size of the family, family revenue and the family functionality and the level of knowledge on VIH. The sample was constituted by 111 students of secondary who expired with the criteria of incorporation. The information was obtained across a constructed survey and the Apgar Familiar; valid and reliable, who was applied considering the rights of anonymity, free participation and confidentiality. The results were analyzed statistically the proof being applied of chi square, being that the type of family, the size of the family, family revenue and the family functionality are not related significantly to the knowledge on VIH/SIDA.es_PE
dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación es de tipo descriptivo correlacional de corte transversal, el estudio se realizó en adolescentes de la Institución Educativa Nº 80010 “Ricardo Palma”. Trujillo durante el mes de diciembre del 2006, con la finalidad de determinar la relación que existe entre el tipo de familia, el tamaño de la familia, ingreso familiar y la funcionalidad familiar y el nivel de conocimiento sobre VIH. La muestra estuvo constituida por 111 estudiantes de secundaria quienes cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. La información se obtuvo a través de una encuesta estructurada y el Apgar Familiar; válidos y confiables, el cual fue aplicado considerando los derechos de anonimato, libre participación y confidencialidad. Los resultados fueron analizados estadísticamente aplicándose la prueba de Chi cuadrado, encontrándose que el tipo de familia, el tamaño de la familia, ingreso familiar y la funcionalidad familiar no se relacionan significativamente con el conocimiento sobre VIH/SIDA.es_PE
