When analyzing the intervening variables, it was found that moderate Covid-19 presented an OR of 6.4 (95% CI: 1.755-23.367). Conclusion: Patients who had COVID-19 have a higher risk of developing recently diagnosed diabetes mellitus, with the moderate degree predominating compared to other clinical degrees.
