Abstract
Estudio cuantitativo, de correlación, transversal, se planteó como objetivo determinar la asociación de la autopercepción del cuidado del envejecimiento activo con nivel de calidad de vida del adulto mayor, Confraternidad Lupita Nolivos- Universidad de Guayaquil, Ecuador, 2022. La muestra estuvo conformada por 50 adultos mayores. Para la recolección de datos se usó dos instrumentos: envejecimiento activo y para calidad de vida de CUBRECAVI de Fernández y Zamarrón. Los resultados: de la población en estudio participaron mujeres (60%), varones (40%), de 71 a 81 años de edad (60%), viudos (40%), casados (40%), jubilados (40%), con menos de tres sueldos básicos unificados (60%), bachilleres (36%). Respecto a la autopercepción del cuidado del envejecimiento activo se encontró que los adultos mayores se auto percibieron con autonomía personal adecuada (32%), bienestar social por apoyo afectivo muy adecuado (28%), seguridad económica muy adecuada (20%), actitud prosocial positiva (18%). Los adultos mayores presentaron nivel medio de calidad de vida, respecto a dimensiones: el 28% tuvieron estados de ánimo positivos, 36% estuvieron satisfechos socialmente, el 40% estuvo satisfecho con su salud y 26% no han sentido dolores o afecciones. Conclusión: Se encontró asociación estadísticamente significativa entre el cuidado del envejecimiento activo con calidad de vida en adultos mayores (coeficiente de Spearman de 0,91 y sig.<0,001).
Quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional study, the objective was to determine the association of the self-perception of active aging care with the level of quality of life of the elderly, Lupita Nolivos Confraternity- University of Guayaquil, Ecuador, 2022. The sample was made up of 50 older adults. Two instruments were used to collect data: active aging and CUBRECAVI quality of life instruments by Fernández and Zamarrón. The results: the study population included women (60%), men (40%), 71 to 81 years of age (60%), widowed (40%), married (40%), retired (40%), with less than three unified basic salaries (60%), high school graduates (36%). Regarding self-perception of active aging care, it was found that older adults perceived themselves as having adequate personal autonomy (32%), social well-being due to very adequate emotional support (28%), very adequate economic security (20%), prosocial attitude. positive (18%). Older adults presented a medium level of quality of life, regarding dimensions: 28% had positive moods, 36% were socially satisfied, 40% were satisfied with their health and 26% have not felt pain or conditions. Conclusion: A statistically significant association was found between active aging care and quality of life in older adults (Spearman coefficient of 0.91 and sig. <0.001).
