dc.description.abstractCon el fin de determinar el efecto de la utilización de un suplemento energético sobre los parámetros productivos en pollos de engorde Cobb 500, en la Granja “Don Aguilar”, localizada en el distrito de Salitral, provincia de Sullana, departamento de Piura, se determinó el peso promedio corporal, la ganancia de peso, el consumo de alimento, conversión alimenticia, mortalidad, y, estimar el índice de eficiencia productiva de los tratamientos. Se emplearon 160 pollos, en cuatro tratamientos, cinco repeticiones con ocho pollos por repetición, bajo un diseño completamente al azar (DCA). Se realizó el análisis de varianza de las variables respuesta con una significación del 5%; asimismo, para las diferencias de medias, se aplicó la prueba de Tukey. Los datos fueron procesados mediante el software InfoStat, y el programa Excel, utilizando las pruebas estadísticas correspondientes. Los tratamientos estuvieron constituidos por un testigo y tres experimentales, con adición de 0,1%, 0,2% y 0,3% de suplemento energético. El mayor peso promedio semanal corporal obtenido a la sexta semana fue 2 905,17 gramos, correspondiente al T1 (testigo), así como la mayor ganancia de peso promedio semanal, total de 2 866,53 g. Existen diferencias significativas entre los tratamientos T1 (0 kg de suplemento energético), y, el T3 (p = 0,019 < 0,05), respecto a la ganancia de peso promedio semanal total. El T3, mostró el mayor consumo promedio semanal de alimento (1 333,43 g), a la sexta semana; pero, no existen diferencias significativas (p = 0,97 > 0,05) entre tratamientos. La mejor conversión alimenticia acumulada promedio semanal, a la sexta semana, la obtuvo T4 (3 kg de suplemento energético), con una eficiencia de conversión de 1,62. El menor porcentaje de mortalidad acumulada promedio semanal lo registraron los tratamientos T3 y T4. Este último, muestra el mejor índice de eficiencia productiva (390,74). Se concluye que, con la utilización de suplemento energético, se tiene el mejor rendimiento productivo, en pollos de engorde Cobb500, destacándose la conversión alimenticia, entre los parámetros de estudio.
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT In order to determine the effect of the use of an energy supplement on the productive parameters in Cobb 500 broiler chickens, in the “Don Aguilar” Farm, located in the district of Salitral, province of Sullana, department of Piura, it was determined average body weight, weight gain, feed consumption, feed conversion, mortality, and estimate the productive efficiency index of the treatments. 160 chickens were used, in four treatments, five repetitions with eight chickens per repetition, under a completely randomized design (DCA). The analysis of variance of the response variables was carried out with a significance of 5%; Likewise, for differences in means, the Tukey test was applied. The data were processed using the InfoStat software and the Excel program, using the corresponding statistical tests. The treatments consisted of a control and three experimental ones, with the addition of 0.1%, 0.2% and 0.3% of energy supplement. The highest weekly average body weight obtained at the sixth week was 2,905.17 grams, corresponding to T1 (control), as well as the highest weekly average weight gain, total of 2,866.53 g. There are significant differences between treatments T1 (0 kg of energy supplement) and T3 (p = 0.019 < 0.05), with respect to total weekly average weight gain. T3 showed the highest average weekly food consumption (1,333.43 g) at the sixth week; However, there are no significant differences (p = 0.97 > 0.05) between treatments. The best weekly average cumulative feed conversion, at the sixth week, was obtained by T4 (3 kg of energy supplement), with a conversion efficiency of 1.62. The lowest percentage of weekly average cumulative mortality was recorded in treatments T3 and T4. The latter shows the best productive efficiency index (390.74). It is concluded that, with the use of energy supplement, there is the best productive performance in Cobb500 broiler chickens, highlighting feed conversion among the study parameters.
