| dc.description | Aim: To determine the characteristics of suspected adverse reactions reported by health personnel of the hospital III – Chimbote. Method: We performed a descriptive, cross-sectional, retrospective, framed in the field of Hospital Pharmacovigilance, were analyzed and classified all spontaneous reports of suspected RAM given to the Pharmacological Committee of Hospital III - Chimbote, from 1 january to 31 december of 2008. Results and Conclusions: There were 65 reports of suspected RAM with a total of 110 drugs involved. The most representative drug classes were: antihypertensives (43.6%), antibiotics (22.8%), NSAIDs (10.9%). The 41.5% of notifications were made by doctors, 48.5% for pharmaceutical chemist, in the type of RAM these were mostly of type B, with respect to severity, 45.5% were non-serious, the rate 37.3% 15.5% serious and severe type, and about 67.3% causality was probable, 21.8% possible and 7.3% of defined character | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Objetivo: Determinar las características de las sospechas de RAM informadas por el personal de salud del Hospital III – Chimbote. Método: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, transversal, retrospectivo, enmarcado en el campo de la Farmacovigilancia Hospitalaria; se analizaron y clasificaron todas las notificaciones espontáneas de sospecha de RAM entregadas al Comité Farmacológico del Hospital III - Chimbote, comprendido entre el 1 de enero y el 31 de diciembre del 2008. Resultados y Conclusiones: Se recibieron 65 Reportes de sospecha de RAM con un total de 110 medicamentos implicados. Los grupos farmacológicos más representativos fueron: Antihipertensivos (43.6%), Antibióticos (22.8%), AINE (10.9%). El 41.5% de las notificaciones fueron realizados por los médicos, el 48.5% por Químicos Farmacéuticos, en cuanto al tipo de RAM éstas fueron en su mayoría de tipo B; con relación a la gravedad, el 45.5% fue de carácter no serio, el 37.3% de tipo serio y el 15.5% de tipo grave; y en cuanto a la causalidad el 67.3% fue probable, 21.8% posible y el 7.3% de carácter definido | es_ES |
