dc.descriptionThe objective of this work is to design and select the mechanical components of a 150 m long conveyor belt, for the transport of sugarcane bagasse at a capacity of 60 t / h in the company Agrolmos SAA, in order to evacuate said material to composting wells. This work is based on the design methodology of conveyor belts by the " Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association " (CEMA) and the use of the "Solidworks" engineering program as a tool for static analysis of the structure of the conveyor. In Chapter I, it deals with the problematic reality of the company, as well as the reason why we are encouraged to design a conveyor belt, in order to facilitate transport in bulk and continuously at a lower cost. In Chapter II, try to explain step by step the calculation methodology based on the CEMA manual; where the use of equations, graphs and tables is exposed, to determine operating parameters (speed, power) and select the mechanical components of the conveyor (idlers, pulleys, belt, drive system, cleaner, transmission, support structure). In chapter III, the sequence to follow for the calculation and selection of components is explained; Information was collected (belt capacity, material to be transported, height and length of the conveyor), width and belt speed were determined, finally the parameters and selection of conveyor components were calculated. In Chapter IV, the results are presented as belt width (30”), belt speed (1.71 m / s), drive power (20 hp), etc. and a static analysis is carried out on the conveyor structure with the Solidworks program.es_PE
dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo titulado, tiene por objetivo diseñar y seleccionar los componentes mecánicos de una faja transportadora de 150 m de longitud, para transporte de bagazo de caña de azúcar a una capacidad de 60 t/h en la empresa Agrolmos S.A.A, para así poder evacuar dicho material a los pozos de compostaje. Este trabajo está basado en la metodología de diseño de fajas transportadoras por la “Asociación de fabricantes de equipos de transporte” (CEMA) y la utilización del programa de ingeniería “Solidworks” como una herramienta de ayuda para análisis estático de la estructura del transportador. En el capítulo I, trata sobre la realidad problemática de la empresa, así mismo, el motivo por el cual nos aminamos a diseñar una faja transportadora, con el fin de facilitar el transporte a granel y de manera continua a menor costo. En el capítulo II, trata de explicar paso a paso la metodología de cálculo basado en el manual CEMA; en donde se expone el uso de ecuaciones, gráficos y tablas, para determinar parámetros de funcionamiento (velocidad, potencia) y seleccionar los componentes mecánicos del transportador (polines, poleas, faja, sistema de accionamiento, limpiador, transmisión, estructura soporte). En el capítulo III, se expone la secuencia a seguir para el cálculo y selección de componentes; se recaudó información (capacidad de faja, material a transportar, altura y longitud del trasportador), se determinó ancho y velocidad de faja, finalmente se calculó los parámetros y selección de componentes del transportador. En el capítulo IV, se presentan los resultados como ancho de faja (30”), velocidad de faja (1.71 m/s), potencia de accionamiento (20 hp), etc. y se realiza un análisis estático a la estructura del transportador con el programa Solidworks.es_PE
