Carga laboral y síndrome de burnout en el personal de enfermería del servicio de emergencia EsSALUD

Abstract
La investigación fue de tipo cuantitativa, descriptiva, correlacional, transversal. Tuvo como objetivo general determinar la relación entre el nivel de carga laboral y el nivel de síndrome de burnout en el personal de enfermería del servicio de emergencia EsSALUD. Se basó en la Teoría de Sistemas propuesta por Betty Neuman. La población muestral estuvo conformada por 146 participantes (enfermeras profesionales y técnicos de enfermería). Para dicho estudio, los instrumentos utilizados fueron: Cuestionario de Carga laboral y Escala de Maslach; instrumento para la evaluación del síndrome de burnout. Los resultados obtenidos fueron: el 76.7%, experimenta una carga laboral moderada, mientras que el 23.3% enfrenta una carga laboral excesiva. Por otro lado, el 61.6% del personal tiene un nivel medio de burnout, mientras que el 38.4% experimenta un nivel bajo. Se concluye que existe relación significativa entre la carga laboral y el síndrome de burnout en el personal de enfermería del servicio de emergencia de EsSALUD (p= 0.003)

Its general objective was to determine the relationship between the level of workload and the level of burnout syndrome in the nursing staff of the EsSALUD emergency service. It was based on the Systems Theory proposed by Betty Neuman. The sample population consisted of 146 participants (professional nurses and nursing technicians). For this study, the instruments used were: Workload Questionnaire and Maslach Scale, instrument for the evaluation of burnout. The results obtained were: 76.7% experienced a moderate workload, while 23.3% faced an excessive workload. On the other hand, 61.6% of the personnel have a medium level of Burnout, while 38.4% experience a low level.
