dc.description.abstractEl objetivo del presente trabajo es dar a conocer la repercusión de los productos agroindustriales azucarados en el consumo de alimentos. En este estudio se investigó sobre los azucares y edulcorantes en general dando mayor énfasis a sus efectos sobre la salud humana. Asimismo, se investigó sobre la situación del consumo, regulaciones y recomendaciones sobre la ingesta de los azucares. Es importante remarcar las consecuencias que genera el consumo excesivo de alimentos con alto contenido de azucares sobre todo de sacarasa y azucares libres, responsables de una serie de enfermedades; por tanto, es necesario que los organismos regulen el contenido de azucares en alimentos a menos del 5% para disminuir sus efectos nocivos.
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT The objective of this paper is to publicize the impact of sugary agroindustrial products on food consumption. In this study we investigated sugars and sweeteners in general, giving more emphasis to their effects on human health. Likewise, the situation of consumption, regulations and recommendations on the intake of sugars was investigated. It is important to highlight the consequences generated by the excessive consumption of foods with a high content of sugar, especially sucrase and free sugars, responsible for a series of diseases; therefore, it is necessary that organisms regulate the content of sugars in food to less than 5% to reduce their harmful effects.
