dc.descriptionABSTRACT In the present investigation the following problem was raised: What is the effect of an educational intervention to improve the level of knowledge about Hygiene and Oral Health in the students of the first grade of secondary school, of the I.E José de San Martin?. The general objective was: To determine the effect of an educational intervention to improve the level of knowledge about Hygiene and Oral Health in the students of the first grade of secondary school, of the I.E. José de San Martin, district Florence de Mora, Trujillo, 2018. The following hypothesis was also formulated: The application of the educational intervention improves the level of knowledge about Hygiene and Oral Health in the students of the first grade of secondary school, of the I.E. José de San Martín, district Florence de Mora, Trujillo, 2018. We worked with a quasi-experimental design with two groups: control and experimental, with pre test and post test respectively. The data collection instruments were then applied and the statistical processing was evaluated, the hypothesis being verified as evidence of the post-test. The most important conclusion is: after the educational intervention in a control group, the level of knowledge about Oral Health was (75%) regular, level of Oral Hygiene (82%) deficient; while the experimental group, the level of knowledge about oral health was (85%) good level, at the level of Oral Hygiene (75%) adequate.es_PE
dc.description.abstractRESUMEN En la presente investigación se planteó el problema siguiente: ¿Cuál es el efecto de una intervención educativa para la mejora del nivel de conocimiento sobre higiene y Salud Oral en los estudiantes del primer grado de secundaria, de la I.E José de san Martin?. El objetivo general fue: Determinar el efecto de una intervención educativa para la mejora del nivel de conocimientos sobre higiene y Salud Oral en los estudiantes del primer grado de secundaria, de la I.E José de San Martin, distrito Florencia de Mora, Trujillo, 2018. Asimismo se formuló la siguiente hipótesis: La aplicación de la intervención educativa mejora el nivel de conocimiento sobre higiene y Salud Oral en los estudiantes del primer grado de secundaria, de la I.E José de San Martín, distrito Florencia de Mora, Trujillo, 2018. Se trabajó con un diseño cuasi experimental con dos grupos: control y experimental, con pre test y pos test respectivamente. Luego se aplicó los instrumentos de recolección de datos y se evaluó el procesamiento estadístico, comprobándose la hipótesis como evidencia la prueba del pos test. La conclusión más importante es: después de la intervención educativa en el grupo control, el nivel de conocimiento sobre Salud Bucal fue (75%) regular, nivel de higiene oral (82%) deficiente; mientras que el grupo experimental, el nivel de conocimiento sobre Salud Bucal fue (85%) nivel bueno y en el nivel de higiene oral (75%) adecuado.es_PE
