Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación titulado: “Impacto de la implementación de las certificaciones ISO 14001 y OHSAS 18001 en la competitividad de la empresa minera Yanacocha S.R.L.” tiene como fin primordial determinar la incidencia que ha tenido la implementación de ambas certificaciones internacionales en la competitividad de dicha empresa minera. En primer lugar, diagnosticaremos la gestión de las prácticas actuales que se llevan a cabo en seguridad, salud ocupacional y medio ambiente en la empresa minera Yanacocha S.R.L., utilizando dos listas de verificación con base en las normas internacionales: ISO 14001 y OHSAS 18001. Posteriormente, estableceremos los indicadores de los Sistemas de Gestión: ambiental (SGA) y de seguridad y salud ocupacional (S & SO), tomando como referencia el Balance Social y los Reportes de: Sostenibilidad y Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional de la empresa minera Yanacocha S.R.L., analizando asimismo los resultados de dichos índices. Finalmente, determinaremos el nivel de mejora de las relaciones con los trabajadores y el nivel de la imagen corporativa interna y reputación de la empresa, aplicando una encuesta a una muestra de los trabajadores de la minera Yanacocha S.R.L. Todo lo anteriormente expuesto demostrará que el impacto de la implementación de las certificaciones ISO 14001 y OHSAS 18001 en la competitividad de la empresa minera Yanacocha S.R.L. es favorable, en los niveles de: relación con los trabajadores y nivel de imagen corporativa interna y reputación de la empresa minera.

The present qualified investigation: "Impact of the implementation of the certifications ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 in the competitiveness of the mining company Yanacocha S.R.L.", it has as purpose to determine the incidence that has had the implementation of these both international certifications in the competitiveness of the mentioned mining company. First, we will diagnose the management of the current practices that are carried out in safety, occupational health and environment in the mining company Yanacocha S.R.L., using two lists of check with base in the international procedure: ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Later, we will establish the indicators of the Environmental Management System (SGA) and the Safety and Occupational Health (S and SO), taking as reference the Social Balance and the Reports of: Sustainability and Security and Occupational Health of the mining company Yanacocha S.R.L., analyzing the results of the above mentioned indexes. Finally, we will determine the level of improvement of the relations with the workers and the level of the internal corporate image and reputation of the company, applying a survey to the workers of the mining company Yanacocha S.R.L. All the strategies and steps previously exposed will demonstrate that the impact of the implementation of the certifications ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 in the competitiveness of the mining company Yanacocha S.R.L. is favorable, in the aspects of: relation with workers and the level of internal corporate image and reputation of this mining company.
