dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación se realizó en el módulo 01 turno 6 lotes 28 del fundo Santa Isabela de la empresa Green Perú, en el distrito de Olmos, provincia de Lambayeque y departamento de Lambayeque. El objetivo del experimento fue medir las características morfológicas y agronómicas de seis híbridos de maíz dulce Zea mays L.var. Saccharata. Los tratamientos fueron: T1 (Snowy River) T2 (Overland) T3 (Marvel Edge) T4(AXC 3081 MR) T5(Astronaut) T6(Gladiator) . los datos obtenidos en este experimento fueron sometidos a la prueba t de Student a un nivel de significancia de 0.05. Los resultados demostraron que existieron diferencias en cuanto a las características morfológicas como altura promedio y número promedio de hojas por planta y las características agronómicas como longitud promedio de mazorca, diámetro (inferior, medio y superior), peso de mazorca (con y sin panca) y rendimiento en kilogramos /hectárea en los híbridos de maíz dulce. El híbrido Overland (T2) se destacó por presentar el mayor rendimiento con 18 186 kilogramos/hectárea a diferencia del híbrido Gladiator (T6) que presentó el menor rendimiento con 13 271 kilogramos/hectárea.
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT The present investigation work was carried out in module 01, shift 6 lots 28 of the Santa Isabela farm of the company Green Peru, in the district of Olmos, province of Lambayeque and department of Lambayeque. The objective of the experiment was to measure the morphological and agronomic characteristics of six sweet corn hybrids Zea mays L. var. Saccharata The treatments were: T1 (Snowy River) T2 (Overland) T3 (Marvel Edge) T4 (AXC 3081 MR) T5 (Astronaut) T6 (Gladiator). The data obtained in this experiment were subjected to the Student's t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that there were differences in terms of morphological characteristics such as average height and average number of leaves per plant and agronomic characteristics such as average length of ear, diameter (lower, middle and upper), weight of ear (with and without panca) and yield in kilograms / hectare in sweet corn hybrids. The hybrid Overland (T2) stood out for presenting the highest yield with 18 186 kilograms / hectare unlike the Gladiator hybrid (T6) which presented the lowest yield with 13 271 kilograms / hectare.
