Abstract
Se describe la instalación de Vaccinium corymbosum L. var. Biloxi en un suelo de textura gruesa en Chao, La Libertad; y la descripción se contrasta con información obtenida en libros, revistas, documentos audiovisuales y otros impresos o digitales referentes a la instalación de arándano en el Perú y el extranjero, así como la información de técnicos y profesionales con experiencia en la instalación de arándano en la localidad. Se describe la nivelación del terreno, el lavado de sales, la incorporación de compost y azufre al suelo, así como, la instalación de plantines de arándano en campo definitivo. El compost incorporado al suelo como enmienda orgánica fue de 60 toneladas por hectárea, incorporándose también 600 kilogramos de azufre por hectárea, para acidificar el suelo. El marco de plantación empleado fue de 84 centímetros entre plantas y 2.5 metros entre surcos, alcanzando una densidad de 4760 plantas por hectárea.
ABSTRACT The installation of Vaccinium corymbosum L. var. Biloxi in a coarse textured soil in Chao, La Libertad; and the description is contrasted with information obtained in books, magazines, audiovisual and other printed or digital documents concerning the installation of cranberry in Peru and abroad, as well as information from technicians and professionals with experience in the installation of cranberry in the location. It describes the leveling of the land, the washing of salts, the incorporation of compost and sulfur to the soil, as well as the installation of blueberry seedlings in the final field. The compost incorporated into the soil as an organic amendment was 60 tons per hectare, also incorporating 600 kilograms of sulfur per hectare, to acidify the soil. The plantation frame used was 84 centimeters between plants and 2.5 meters between rows, reaching a density of 4760 plants for hectare.
