Prioridad del triaje y tiempo de espera de los usuarios en emergencia del Hospital Provincial de Cascas

| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio tiene como objetivo principal determinar la relación que existe entre los niveles de prioridad del triaje y el tiempo de espera en la atención de los pacientes que acuden al servicio de emergencia del Hospital Provincial de Cascas. Este estudio es de tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo, la muestra lo conformaron 55 historias clínicas, que cumplieron los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. La información se recolectó a través de una ficha de registro de datos, utilizándose la técnica de muestreo no probabilístico, siendo como unidad de análisis cada uno de los usuarios que acudan a la atención de Emergencia del Hospital Provincial de Cascas, Los hallazgos mostraron que el mayor porcentaje de atenciones 23.6 % en un tiempo de 5 a <10 minutos de los pacientes que acudieron al Hospital Provincial de Cascas en la investigación realizada. Así mismo el mayor porcentaje de atenciones es de la prioridad I con un total de 36.4%. Con respecto al tiempo de espera en <5 minutos en la prioridad I fueron atendidos en un 100%, también en el tiempo de espera de 5 a <10 minutos en la prioridad I fue un 76.9% y en la prioridad II con 23.1%, encontrándose relación significativa entre el tiempo de espera y la prioridad de triaje | |
| dc.description.abstract | The main objective of this study is to determine the relationship between the priority levels of the triage and the waiting time in the care of patients who attend the emergency service of the Cascas Provincial Hospital. This study is quantitative, descriptive, the sample consisted of 55 clinical histories, which met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The information was collected through a data record sheet, using the non-probabilistic sampling technique, with each of the users attending the Emergency Care of the Cascas Provincial Hospital as the unit of analysis. The findings showed that the greater percentage of attention 23.6% in a time of 5 to <10 minutes of the patients who went to the Cascas Provincial Hospital in the research carried out. Likewise, the highest percentage of attentions is priority I with a total of 36.4%. With respect to the waiting time in <5 minutes in priority I, they were attended 100%, also in the waiting time from 5 to < 10 minutes in priority I was 76.9% and in priority II with 23.1%, finding a significant relationship between waiting time and triage priority | |
