dc.descriptionThe present research work studies the problem of decision making. For this, the_x000D_ following question is asked: How to assist decision-making in the Sales Area of the_x000D_ Pharmaceutical Company Mifarma, Chepén, La Libertad?_x000D_ The investigation is oriented to implement a Data Mart, as a tool that will allow_x000D_ to realize Business Intelligence about the Sales Area of the Pharmaceutical Company_x000D_ Mifarma._x000D_ To apply the implementation of the Data Mart, the monitoring of the Hephaestus_x000D_ Methodology is proposed, which allows the simplification of the extraction,_x000D_ transformation and loading of the information in the dimensional (operational) database._x000D_ Obtaining as a result the construction of the generated Dashboard artifacts (control_x000D_ panel) made in Power Pivot, it will be possible to visualize the information as:_x000D_ to see which are the best selling products, to see in which months a certain product_x000D_ is sold in a faster way and sure, in order to make correct decisions on time and have_x000D_ a summary knowledge about the progress of the companyes_PE
dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación estudia el problema de la toma de decisiones._x000D_ Para ello se formula la siguiente pregunta: ¿Cómo asistir la toma de decisiones_x000D_ en el Área de Ventas de la Empresa Farmacéutica Mifarma, Chepén, La Libertad?_x000D_ La investigación se orienta a implementar un Data Mart, como una herramienta_x000D_ que permitirá realizar Inteligencia de Negocios sobre el Área de Ventas de la_x000D_ Empresa Farmacéutica Mifarma._x000D_ Para aplicar la implementación del Data Mart se plantea el seguimiento de la_x000D_ Metodología Hefesto, la cual permite la simplificación de los procedimientos de_x000D_ extracción, transformación y cargado de la información en la base de datos dimensional_x000D_ (operacional)._x000D_ Obteniendo como resultado la construcción de los artefactos generados de Dashboard_x000D_ (tablero de comando) hechas en Power Pivot, se podrá visualizar la información_x000D_ como: ver cuáles son los productos más vendidos, ver en qué meses se venden_x000D_ cierto producto de una manera más rápida y segura, para así tomar decisiones correctas_x000D_ a tiempo y tener un conocimiento resumido sobre la marcha de la empresaes_PE
