Abstract
Objetivo: Determinar las características del nivel de salud mental en los trabajadores
hospitalarios durante la pandemia COVID-19 de la provincia de Trujillo. Método: Estudio
tipo descriptivo, observacional, analítico, en una población de 205 trabajadores
hospitalarios, entre 20 y 65 años de edad, 179 de ellos fue personal asistencial y 26 personal
administrativo que labora durante pandemia por COVID-19 en Hospitales de Trujillo, en
quienes se recolectó datos a través de una encuesta elaborada en Google Forms, haciendo
uso de la Escala Abreviada de Ansiedad y Depresión de Goldberg. Se excluyó personal de
salud que trabaja vía remoto para el Hospitales de Trujillo, personal de salud que no den su
consentimiento informado para ingresar al estudio. Resultados: Existe un alto porcentaje de
diagnóstico de ansiedad y depresión en la mayoría de personal que labora en hospital
(médicos con 82,3% de casos de ansiedad, 98% de casos de ansiedad en el personal de
enfermería, en obstetras fue de 59.1%) (Obstetras, y técnicos en computación representan el
100% de casos de depresión, enfermeras con un 98%, médicos con un total de 93.8% casos)
Conclusión: las características del nivel de salud mental en los trabajadores hospitalarios,
reflejan la existencia de ansiedad y depresión mayormente en enfermeras, médicos,
obstetras. Lo que implica que se requiere un pronto abordaje de salud mental en trabajadores
hospitalarios.

Method: Descriptive, observational, analytical study, in a population of 205 hospital workers, between 20 and 65 years of age, 179 of them were healthcare personnel and 26 administrative personnel who work during the COVID-19 pandemic in Trujillo Hospitals, in whom collected data through a survey elaborated in Google Forms, using the Abbreviated Goldberg Anxiety and Depression Scale. Health personnel who work remotely for Hospitales de Trujillo, health personnel who do not give their informed consent to enter the study were excluded. Results: There is a high percentage of diagnosis of anxiety and depression in the majority of personnel who work in hospitals (physicians with 82.3 % of cases of anxiety, 98% of cases of anxiety in the nursing staff, in obstetricians it was 59.1%) (Obstetricians, and computer technicians represent 100% of cases of depression, nurses with 98%, doctors with a total of 93.8% cases) Conclusion: the characteristics of the level of mental health in hospital workers, reflect the existence of anxiety and depression mostly in nurses, doctors, obstetricians. This implies that a prompt approach to mental health in hospital workers is required.
