dc.descriptionABSTRACT This correlational descriptive research study was carried out in Trujillo, with the purpose of identifying if there is a relationship between level of knowledge and health promoting behaviors in students of technical nursing of the San Luis Consortium, in the months of August to December of 2018. The sample universe consisted of 30 nursing technical students, the data was automatically processed in a computer system using statistical test, reaching the following conclusion, 56.7% of students have a high level of knowledge, 33.3% of students present level of regular knowledge, and 10% of student presented low level of knowledge about health promoting behaviors, thus 70% of students have healthy promoter behaviors and 30% unhealthy promoter behaviors. Being the value of chi-square 13.6 with probability 0.001 being highly significant, so there is a relationship between level of knowledge and promoting behavior in students of technical nursing at the San Luis Consortium.es_PE
dc.description.abstractRESUMEN El presente estudio de investigación de tipo descriptivo correlacional, se realizó en Trujillo, con el propósito de identificar si existe relación entre nivel de conocimiento y conductas promotoras de salud en alumnos de enfermería técnica del Consorcio San Luis, en los meses de Agosto a Diciembre del 2018. El universo muestral estuvo constituido por 30 alumnas técnicas de enfermería, los datos fueron procesados automáticamente en sistema por computadora empleando prueba estadística, llegando a la siguiente conclusión, el 56.7% de estudiantes presentan nivel de conocimientos alto, el 33.3% de estudiantes presentan nivel de conocimientos regular, y 10% de estudiante presento nivel de conocimientos bajo sobre conductas promotoras en salud, siendo así el 70 % de estudiantes presentan conductas promotoras saludables y el 30% conductas promotoras no saludables. Siendo el valor de chi cuadrado 13.6 con probabilidad 0.001 siendo altamente significativo, por lo que hay relación entre nivel de conocimiento y conductas promotoras en alumnos de enfermería técnica del Consorcio San Luis.es_PE
