Abstract
The research study is descriptive, correlational and cross sectional, carried out at Hospital II 2 Jaén , with the purpose of determining the relationship that exists between risk factors and nursing care in pressure injuries in the ICU Hospital Jaén, 2024 The sample universe consisted of 20 medical records that met the inclusion criteria. The information wa s obtained through two instruments; which were checklists, one to identify risk factors and another to determine the level of nursing care in pressure injuries, both reliable and valid by the author. The Spearman correlation test was used for statistical a nalysis. The results revealed that the risk factors are valued 90% as moderate risk followed by 10% as low risk; On the other hand, nursing care is rated as excellent by 75% and good by 25%. After applying the Rho Spearman statistical test, a bilateral sig nificance of 0.000 was found, demonstrating that there is an inversely negative relationship (rho= 0.71498) between risk factors and nursing care in pressure injuries.
