dc.descriptionABSTRACT The present research is a descriptive type that seeks to know the theoretical and methodological foundations that characterize the professional intervention of social workers in the city of Trujillo during the year 2016. The study was carried out with a total of 36 social workers working in the city of Trujillo, working in the fields of health, education, welfare, business, justice, NGOs, and regional and local governments. The methods have been used: ethnographic, inductive-deductive, synthetic and techniques of observation, interview and survey. From the results obtained, we can affirm that the professional intervention of social workers is characterized by a positive influence, empiricist and pragmatist approach that has accentuated the separation between science and technique, theory and practice, methodology of knowledge and methodology of action.es_PE
dc.description.abstractRESUMEN La presente investigación es de tipo descriptivo que pretende conocer los fundamentos teóricos-metodológicos que caracterizan la intervención profesional de los trabajadores sociales en la ciudad de Trujillo durante el año 2016. El estudio se ha realizado con un total de 36 trabajadores sociales que se encuentran en ejercicio profesional en la ciudad de Trujillo, laborando en los campos de salud, educación, bienestar, empresa, justicia, ONGs, y gobiernos regionales y locales. Se han utilizado los métodos: etnográfico, inductivo-deductivo, sintético y las técnicas de observación, entrevista y encuesta. De los resultados obtenidos podemos afirmar que la intervención profesional de los trabajadores sociales se caracteriza por tener un enfoque de influencia positiva, empirista y pragmatista que han acentuado la separación entre ciencia y técnica, teoría y práctica, metodología de conocimiento y metodología de acción.es_PE
