Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación de tipo descriptiva, correlacional y de corte transversal, cuyo propósito fue determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y las prácticas sobre aspiración de secreciones a circuito cerrado en pacientes de la unidad de cuidados intensivos, cuya muestra estuvo conformada por 30 enfermeras del Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo. Tuvo como resultados: el 57% de las enfermeras tienen un nivel de conocimiento alto, el 30% medio y el 13% bajo en cuanto a la aspiración de secreciones a circuito cerrado en pacientes intubados de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos, el 67% de las enfermeras realizan una adecuada práctica en la aspiración de secreciones a circuito cerrado, mientras que 33% realiza una práctica inadecuada. Concluyendo que existe relación significativa entre las variables con un p= 0.000
