dc.descriptionThe present study analyzes the characteristics of patients pharmacotherapy follow-up to hypertensive patients treated at the Department of Pharmaceutical Care (AF.) of the Department of Pharmacy at the Regional Teaching Hospital of Trujillo (HRDT) during the months of May 2006 - April 2007. The study was descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective. Patients who met the inclusion criteria were 16. The information was collected systematically stoking the patient information sheet. Blood pressure were subjected to statistical analysis ANOVA with a level of significance p <0.05. The study found that the percentage of women Hypertensives (62.5%) is higher than for men (37.5%) and the age range where they met with hypertension is more among the 51 to 60 years, the associated diseases HTA was found to diabetes and high cholesterol are the most frequent was also determined that the enalapril remains the drug most commonly used by these patients. At the end of the study note that the monitoring farmacoterapetico to hypertensive patients by the Chemical Pharmaceutical succeeds in improving the values of blood pressure as well as the performance of healthy lifestyles and adherence to drug treatment, This is reflected in the successful development of patients in the last visites_ES
dc.description.abstractEn el presente estudio se analizaron las características del Seguimiento Farmacoterapeutico a pacientes hipertensos atendidos en el Servicio de Atención Farmacéutica (AF.) del Departamento de Farmacia del Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo (HRDT) durante los meses de Mayo 2006 - Abril 2007. El estudio fue descriptivo, transversal y retrospectivo. Los pacientes que cumplieron los criterios de inclusión fueron 16. La información fue recogida sistemáticamente atizando la hoja de información del paciente. Los valores de presión arterial fueron sometidos al análisis estadístico ANOVA con un nivel de significancia p < 0.05. En el estudio se encontró que el porcentaje de Hipertensos mujeres (62.5 %) es mayor al de los hombres (37.5 %) así como el rango de edad donde se encontraron mas hipertensos es entre los 51 a 60 años, con respecto a las patologías asociadas a la HTA se encontró la diabetes y la hipercolesterolemia son las mas frecuentes también se determino que el enalapril continua siendo el fármaco mas usado por estos pacientes. Al finalizar el estudio se observo que el seguimiento farmacoterapetico a pacientes hipertensos por parte del Químico Farmacéutico logra mejorar los valores de presión arterial al igual que el cumplimiento de estilos de vida saludables y la adherencia al tratamiento farmacológico, Esto se ve reflejado en la evolución satisfactoria de los pacientes en la última visitaes_ES
