dc.descriptionABSTRACT This research sought to determine the relationship between parental assistance in educational tasks and school performance in children of the 6th grade of primary school school No. 80229 in the city of Otuzco. The population was 57 students. The sample was the 29 students in the "A" section, the selection of the sample was made by the researcher's criteria. In the hypothesis test, Spearman's Rho correlation was used and it was concluded that: 1) Between parenteral assistance in homework and school performance there is a significant relationship of rs = 0.398 in boys and girls under investigation. 2) Between parenteral assistance in homework and school performance in theoretical knowledge there is a significant relationship of rs = 0.300. 3) Between the parenteral assistance in the tasks and the school performance in comprehension there is a significant relationship of rs = 0.223 4) Between the parenbteral assistance in the tasks and the school performance in application there is a significant relation of rs = 0.265 5) Between the parenteral assistance in the tasks and school performance in analysis there is a significant relationship of rs = 0.187. dc.description.abstractRESUMEN Esta investigación buscó determinar la relación que existe entre la asistencia parental y las tareas educativas y el rendimiento escolar en niños y niñas del 6° grado de educación primaria de la escuela N° 80229 de la ciudad de Otuzco. La población fue de 29 estudiantes. La muestra fueron los 29 alumnos de la sección “A”, y su selección se hizo mediante el criterio del investigador. En la contrastación de hipótesis se usó la correlación Rho de Spearman y se concluyó que: 1) Entre la asistencia parental en las tareas y el rendimiento escolar existe una relación significativa de rs=0.398 en los niños y niñas sujetos de investigación. 2) Entre la asistencia parental en las tareas y el rendimiento escolar en conocimientos teóricos existe una relación significativa de rs=0.300. 3) Entre la asistencia parental en las tareas y el rendimiento escolar en comprensión lectora existe una relación significativa de rs=0.223 4) Entre la asistencia parental en las tareas y el rendimiento escolar en aplicación existe una relación significativa de rs=0.265 5) Entre la asistencia parental en las tareas y el rendimiento escolar en análisis existe una relación significativa de rs=0.187.
