Abstract
En el presente trabajo se determinó el efecto del cloruro de hidroxilamina sobre la viabilidad y crecimiento de Bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis, para lo cual se preparó en medio Nysma con las concentraciones del mutágeno, posteriormente se sembró la cepa por 72 horas a 30 ºC. A las 72 horas de exposición se observó que las colonias mutadas de B. thuringiensis var. israelensis son de forma circular con prolongaciones protuberantes, opacas de color cremoso y rugosas. En cuanto al número promedio de las colonias se determinó según el análisis de varianza que las concentraciones del mutágeno influyen significativamente en la viabilidad de la colonia demostrando que existe diferencia significativa entre los tratamientos, también se encontró mediante el análisis de regresión que existe dependencia negativa entre las concentraciones y el número de colonias. Con respecto al diámetro promedio de las colonias expuestas al mutágeno se comprobó que a las 24 horas, las concentraciones influyen en el diámetro de las colonias demostrando que existe diferencias significativas entre los tratamientos y que no hay dependencia entre las concentraciones y el diámetro de las colonias. A las 48 y 72 horas de exposición se determinó que existe diferencias significativas entre los tratamientos y que además hay dependencia positiva entre las concentraciones y el diámetro de la colonia. Concluyendo el cloruro de hidroxilamina tiene efecto sobre la viabilidad y crecimiento de Bacillus thuringiensis H- 14 var. israelensis.
