Abstract
ABSTRACT The present research work called "NPK fertilization dose in the yield of Zea mays L. var. Native purple in Santiago de Chuco, La Libertad, located at S-08 ° 05'886” W – 078 ° 11'242” and an altitude of 3 116 masl. The objective of the study was to evaluate the effect of different doses of NPK fertilization on the yield of Zea mays L. var. Native purple. A randomized complete block design was used, with four treatments and four repetitions. The treatments under study were: (T0 (0 N-0 P2O5-0 K2O), this being the control, T1 (210 N-120 P2O5-150 K2O), T2 (180 N-100 P2O5-120 K2O), T3 ( 150 N-80 P2O5-90 K2O). The statistical analysis was carried out with the analysis of variance and the Tuckey test at 5% of significance. The most relevant conclusion is that the treatment (T1) with the incorporation of 210 N- 120 P2O5-150 K2O kg.ha-1, the maximum yield of 5.15 kg / ha-1 was obtained, significantly exceeding the control treatment (T0) with a yield of 2.16 t / ha-1. The average anthocyanin concentration in grain and in crown obtained in the present work ranges between 239.44 mg of anthocyanins / 100 gr of ground grain and 2445.27 mg of anthocyanins / 100 gr of ground crown, respectively. In addition, the variables plant height, ear length, ear diameter, cob weight, number of grains per row, weight of 100 grains per plot, there was a significant difference in the NPK fertilization doses of Zea mays L. var. Purple native in Santiago de Chuco, La Libertad.
