| dc.description | This research descriptive correlational and cross-sectional was conducted in the Educational Institution No. 82115 Application Center - Huamachuco in order to determine the influence of family functioning and self-esteem in the perception of body image of adolescents. The sample population consisted of 120 adolescents was applied on three assessment tools: Self-Esteem, Family Functioning and Perception of Body Image. The information obtained was processed and analyzed in the program and presented SPSS.15 statistical tables of single and double entry with absolute frequencies and percentages. To determine the relationship between variables using chi-square statistical test, the results indicated that 30.8 percent of adolescents have high self-esteem, the average 54.2 and 15.0 low, the functional family had 32.5, the 63.3 and 4.2 moderately functional dysfunctional, the body image presented 43.3 unaltered, an alteration in risk 55.0 and 1.7 impaired. There is significant relationship (p = 0.000) between self-esteem and body image perception and family functioning significantly influence the perceived body image (p = 0.0169). As more self-esteem and family functioning increases the perception of body image in adolescents. | es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación descriptiva correlacional y de corte transversal, se realizó en la Institución Educativa Nº 82115 Centro de Aplicación – Huamachuco con la finalidad de determinar la influencia del funcionamiento familiar y autoestima en la percepción de la imagen corporal de los adolescentes. La población muestral estuvo constituida por 120 adolescentes, se les aplicó tres instrumentos de valoración sobre: Autoestima, Funcionamiento Familiar y Percepción de la Imagen Corporal. La información obtenida fue procesada y analizada en el programa SPSS.15 y presentados en tablas estadísticas de una y doble entrada con frecuencias absolutas y porcentuales. Para determinar la relación entre las variables se utilizó la prueba estadistica chi cuadrado, los resultados indicaron que el 30.8 por ciento de adolescentes presentó autoestima alta, el 54.2 promedio y el 15.0 baja; el 32.5 presentaron familia funcional, el 63.3 moderadamente funcional y el 4.2 disfuncional; el 43.3 presentó una imagen corporal no alterada, un 55.0 en riesgo de alteración y el 1.7 alterada. Existe relación significativa (p = 0.000) entre nivel de autoestima y la percepción de imagen corporal y el funcionamiento familiar influye significativamente en la imagen corporal percibida (p = 0.0169). Conforme aumenta el nivel de autoestima y funcionamiento familiar aumenta la percepción de la imagen corporal en los adolescentes. | es_PE |
