Abstract
ABSTRACT The objective of this work was to find pedotransfer equations by textural classes to determine the conductivity in saturation extract and the pH in saturated paste because currently new crops are being installed that, for their management, require an exact measurement of the pH and electrical conductivity, which is why an analysis of pH in saturated paste and electrical conductivity in saturation extract was carried out on several soil samples with their respective data that said samples counted as the percentage of organic matter, sand, clay and slime in addition to pH and electrical conductivity in 1: 1 solution given by the soil and foliar analysis laboratory of the National University of Trujillo. With all these data, edafotransference equations were performed that predicted the results of pH in saturated paste and electrical conductivity in saturation extract, obtaining in the end several equations that according to their R2 and RMSE, only five equations were selected, one for each textural group. , which were the best in predicting results, but these equations only serve for the freedom region since these equations were used for soil samples from other regions of Peru obtaining negative data in some cases.
