Abstract
El presente informe de prácticas es de tipo retrospectivo, descriptivo y de corte transversal, tiene como finalidad evaluar el consumo de caspofungina 50 mg inyectable utilizada para su reconstitución, la cual es elaborada en la unidad de mezclas intravenosas (UMI), en pacientes de pediatría del servicio de Unidad de cuidados intensivos, en el periodo 2018-2019. Se utilizaron los datos históricos de consumo brindados por el sistema de Farmacia Materno infantil del hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliati Martins y los registros de la UMI. Se determinó el consumo anual-mensual, promedio anual y tendencia de consumo a través del
tiempo. Los resultados muestran que el consumo anual de caspofungina 50 mg inyectable fue de 222 unidades, el cual mayo es el mes de más consumo con un total de 36 unidades representando el 16.2% del consumo anual, y febrero el mes de menos consumo con un total de 8 unidades representando el 3.6% del consumo anual. Con respecto a la tendencia de consumo de caspofungina 50mg inyectable resultó positiva, siendo estadísticamente no significativo.

The results show that the annual consumption of 50 mg injectable caspofungin was 222 units, with May being the month with the highest consumption, with a total of 36 units representing 16.2% of the annual consumption, and February being the month with the least consumption, with a total of 36 units. of 8 units representing 3.6% of annual consumption. Regarding the trend of consumption of caspofungin 50mg injection, it was positive, being statistically insignificant.
