Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación es de tipo descriptivo – retrospectivo y se orientó a determinar el consumo de Ceftazidima en el Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray en los años 2006 – 2007. Los datos fueron proporcionados por el Sistema de Gestión Hospitalaria y por la Oficina de Inteligencia Sanitaria; expresándose el consumo en términos de Dosis Diaria Definida/100camas/día, utilizando para tal propósito el programa ABC Calc (Antibiotic Consumpiton Calculation. Versión 3.1). Se determinó la tendencia de consumo de Ceftazidima para cada servicio y su correspondiente coeficiente de correlación con un nivel de confianza de α=0.05; además, se calculó el valor en soles del consumo anual y por servicio de Ceftazidima. El consumo de Ceftazidima para el año 2006 fue de 3.37 y para el año 2007 fue de 4.08 DDD/100camas/día. El servicio de mayor consumo tanto para el año 2006 como para el año 2007 fue UCIN con 6.35 y 13.39 DDD/100camas/día respectivamente. La tendencia de consumo en ambos años fue positiva, pero no fue estadísticamente significativa para el año 2006 (p=0.1214), en cambio para el año 2007 si fue significativamente estadística (p=0.0169). El gasto por consumo de medicamentos en el H. V. L. E durante al año 2006 fue de S/. 12 239 033.4 del cual se gastó en antibacterianos la suma de S/. 1 522 303.69, de los cuales corresponde a Cefatzidima la suma de S/. 77 351 82; para el año 2007 el gasto en medicamentos fue de S/. 13 774 812.2, para antibacterianos S/. 1 236 251.17 y para Ceftazidima la suma de S/. 87 813.7

The present investigation work is of descriptive type - retrospective and it was guided to determine the consumption of Ceftazidima in the Hospital Victor to Rope you Echegaray in the years 2006 - 2007. The data were provided by the System of Hospital Administration and for the Office of Sanitary Intelligence; being expressed the consumption in terms of Daily Dose Definida/100camas/día, using for such a purpose the program ABC Calc (Antibiotic Consumpiton Calculation. Version 3.1). was the tendency of consumption of Ceftazidima determined for each service and its corresponding correlation coefficient with a level of trust of? =0.05; was the value also calculated, in suns of the annual consumption and for service of Ceftazidima. The consumption of Ceftazidima for the year 2006 were of 3.37 and for the year 2007 were of 4.08 DDD/100camas/día. The service of more consumption so much for the year 2006 like for the year 2007 were UCIN respectively with 6.35 and 13.39 DDD/100camas/día. The consumption tendency in both years was positive, but it was not statistically significant for the year 2006 (p=0.1214), on the other hand for the year 2007 if it was significantly statistical (p=0.0169). The expense for consumption of medications in the H. V. L.
